Firmware versions:
------------------

583 - Minimum recommended Gazelle firmware version.
584 - Adds beam break count functionality.
585 - Adds configurable server port functionality.
592 - The version of firmware contained in this zip file. This adds 16GB SD Card support (and removes web setup functionality if required, see below).

******************

Two versions of the Gazelle 592 firmware are available:

- Release 34 updates main firmware to support 16Gb SD cards.

- Release 35 updates main firmware to support 16Gb SD cards and also disables the onboard, web based, setup software. This might be required in some cases if security is a concern. Disabling onboard setup tool removes the requirement for Silverlight and other legacy components, but means that future settings changes must be done through Estate Manager or a local RIFT (installed exe) setup software connection.

NOTE : If your device is on firmware version 583, 584, or 585, the update to 592 is only required if you want to add support for 16Gb SD cards (for example if you need to replace an SD card on a device), or you want to disable the web setup functionality (for example for security concerns).

IMPORTANT - If you remove the onboard web package, you cannot put it back later - only proceed if you are absolutely sure you want to do this.

How To Apply:
-------------

If a device is in Estate Manager, simply select the Task Launcher option from the top right menu. Note that you need to be an Admin or System Admin user to be able to access this option.

Alternatively, you can use the RIFT setup software (available separately from the partner portal). Connect to the Gazelle as normal then select Task Launcher from the top right 'Actions' menu.

Once Task Launcher is open, upload the firmware file, then choose it from the drop down list. Hit the 'Run' button and you're done! Firmware update should take a few minutes. (You will initially need to upload the firmware files before they are selectable).

Note that Task Launcher option is NOT available via the onboard web based setup tools.
