Question:

  • What is the structure of the measurement data in CSV format for Fluke 6500-2 appliance testers?

Answer:

The data for the Fluke 6500-2 appliance tester (firmware 1.8.3) is structured as following:

A line always has the same number of elements, these are in fixed positions.
The comma is the separator between the individual elements.
When the CSV file is transferred to Excel, the following columns result:

The first columns contain information about the site, location, customer, user, date, Auto-test and visual test:

Column A

Column B

Column C

Column D

Column E

Column F

Column G

Column H

Column I

Column J

Column K

Column L

memory location

SITE Customer name USER User code DATE Date APP Appliance No. Auto test (AUTO)
or single test(DIAG)
VISUAL Result of visual test (PASS)

The individual measurements are listed in the following order with 3 repetitions, whether they were carried out or not:

  • Protective bonding resistance RPE (4x),
  • Insulation resistance RISO (4x),
  • Substitute leakage current IEA (1x), touch leakage current IB(4x),
  • Apparent power, load current, protective conductor current,
  • IEC lead test, RCD-test and remark
