The purpose of this article is to review the Power Quality parameters of the Fluke-378FC.
The Fluke-378FC Power Quality parameters are Voltage THD, Amperage THD and Power Factor. The default sensitivity is High. You can choose between Low, Medium or High see chart below.
To explain the three choices when in the High setting if the level of THD is above 10% for Amps or above 8% THD for Volts or below 0.9 Power Factor you will get an indicator on the screen telling which of the three have been exceeded. Medium setting if the level of THD is above 25% for Amps or above 10% THD for Volts or below 0.75 Power Factor you will get an indicator on the screen telling which of the three have been exceeded. Low if the level of THD is above 50% for Amps or above 15% THD for Volts or below 0.6 Power Factor you will get an indicator on the screen telling which of the three have been exceeded.
