Applies To: All 9170, 9171, 9172, and 9173 series Metrology wells
Problem Description: My 917X does not heat properly. Voltage is on 115V.
Resolution/Work Around: The 9170 and 9171 voltage selection is automatically switched inside with the power supply. However, the fuse holder and fuses should be removed and replaced with the proper orientation and fuse size and rating.
The 9172 and 9173 voltage selection is done manually. You will need to remove the fuse holder and fuses and replace them in the proper orientation and fuse size and rating. With the 9172 and 9173, failure to switch the voltage will result in a failure to heat and stabilize properly and/or damage to the heating block.
