The purpose of this article is to be a general guide for the installation of MET/TEAM Mobile onto a mobile workstation.

Note: Before installation, be sure to check the MET/TEAM Mobile Configuration Basics and ensure that all conditions have been met.

Checking Out on a Workstation

  1. Login to MET/Team with a mobile user on the mobile workstation.
  2. Click on File --> Mobile --> Check Out
  3. It will ask you to select facilities. Search for the facility/facilities in the Facility Name field.
  4. Double-click on the facility that you would like to check out. This will select the facility in the bottom area.
  5. When all facilities have been selected, click the OK button to create an install file named METTeamMobile.exe for the workstation.
  6. A screen will popup saying that it is generating the MET/TEAM Mobile Configuration Utility. You will then get another MET/TEAM popup showing the following:
  7. Go ahead and click OK on that. Windows will ask you where you would like to save the METTeamMobile.exe file. 
  8. Navigate to METTeamMobile.exe and run the executable. 
  9. A MET/TEAM Mobile Check-Out window will popup. Click the Check-Out button.
  10. A dialog box will pop up saying “Congratulations! You have successfully check out MET/TEAM Mobile.”
  11. The workstation is now able to work without a network connection until it needs to be checked in again.
  12. An icon will appear on the workstation desktop title MetTeam-Mobile-#### that you can use to launch MET/TEAM Mobile.

Checking In Workstation

Note: You need a network connection to the MET/TEAM server to check in the workstation

  1. Login to MET/TEAM Mobile on the workstation.
  2. Click File --> Mobile --> Check In
  3. It will ask you to save or run an executable. Save and then run the executable.
  4. A box will pop up with a Check In button. Click on the Check In button.
  5. When it is finished, a dialog box will pop up saying “Congratulations! You have successfully check-in MET/TEAM Mobile
