Applies To:  All baths

Problem Description:  What steps and chemicals should I use to clean my bath?

Resolution/Work Around:

Here are a few steps to take when trying to clean a bath.

  1. Drain the fluid from the bath. If the fluid is too thick and will not drain, the fluid will need to be scooped or ladled out.
  2. Wipe out the remaining fluid with simple paper towels, no solutions added.
  3. Spray or wipe on Dow Corning OS-2 Silicone Cleaner and Surface Prep Solvent, let soak, and wipe surface before it dries, repeating if necessary. If OS-2 Solvent is not available, we will use Ethanol in the same manner.
  4. Wipe down the tank with a dry paper towel to make sure all fluids are removed.
  5. Let tank dry for an hour.
