The meter uses the PV cell (solar bit) to measure irradiance and it is typical that the high temperature would reduce the efficiency of the PV cell (solar bit).  The meter’s temperature sensor takes time to stabilize the measurement reading. It is recommended to allow the meter to stabilize before taking the measurement reading. Depending on ambient temperatures this could take up to 10 minutes.
