Before you start, you will need to have a PXE file available in a location you can browse to easily.

Once that step is completed, you will add the procedure as a file in MET/TEAM by going to step 1 below.  If the PXE you want has already been added to the database as a file, you will skip the add file step. 

To add a file: 

From MET/TEAM:

Maintenance>Files.  Click the big plus sign on the search screen to add which will bring up the screen below. First click the down arrow on the "Link To" field and select "procedure".  This will allow us to search for it more easily when we want to add it later into a procedure record.

Next click on the "Browse" button to find the PXE file you saved.  When you find it and select it, just click "save".

Next create a procedure record for the PXE file, by following these steps.  

Create a MET/TEAM procedure for this PXE file.

1. Go to Maintenance-> Procedures, click the Add button.

2. In the pop up "Add Procedure" window, click the ellipses for the Data Sheet textbox to upload the *.PXE file.

3. In the pop up "Attach Data Sheet" window,  click "Procedure" as the search value and click "Find". button. 

4. In  the"Attach Data Sheet" window, double click the PXE file from the search result list to bring up the "Add Procedure" window. "Data Sheet" textbox is filled for you.

5. Copy the text displayed in Data Sheet textbox, paste it in the "Procedure Name" textbox. Remove ".pxe" from the name, or simply type in a name for your procedure.  However it is best to keep them consistent. 

6. Under "Service Type (Proc)" dropdown listbox, chose "Calibration". 

7. Under the "Category (Proc), click the ellipses to bring up the "Select Category (Proc)" window. Double click "MET/CAL".  Note: You can use any of the other fields, but thse are the only ones which are required.  

8. Click Save button from the menu bar.
