Applies To: Fluke 1524 Handheld Readouts
Problem Description:
When the 1524 is powered up a message is displayed indicating that “EEPROM 2 is not found. Datalogging disabled.”
Resolution/Work Around:
The message indicates that the firmware for the 1524 has become corrupted or failed somehow and it has reverted back to the 1523 firmware, which is the base firmware for both the 1523 and the 1524 models. The 1524's that have this problem will need to have their firmware upgraded. This firmware upgrade cannot be done in the field so the 1524 will have to be sent back to the factory for repair.
