Title: Manually reset your 1521 or 1522

Applies To: All 1521 and 1522 handheld readouts
Problem Description: 1521 or 1522 locks up, or memory error, or invalid passcode
Resolution/Work Around: To begin, the unit will need the last calibration certificate.
To reset the 1521 or 1522:
Hold and press the Up and Down arrows while turning on the 1521/22.
Release the power button, keep holding the Up and Down arrow buttons.
Unit will display, ENT to init mem
Press ENT button
Unit will display, -init-
The unit is now at default values. You will need to enter the Cal date and Cal parameters, like CAL 1 and CAL 2 data. These are found on the calibration certificate.
The password is now 01251 for a 1521
The password is now 02251 for a 1522
