1-Wear powder free Nitrile gloves during the realization of the TPW to prevent contamination of the cell.
2-Have a squeeze bottle filled with ethanol (90%+ purity) ready before starting the realization of the TPW.
3-Place one piece of foam at the bottom of the cell to insulate the TPW in order to allow a more uniform temperature gradient. In addition, it also provides cushion when the cell is inserted.
4-Place the mini TPW cell in the well and fill the well with ethanol until the ethanol level is about 3 mm above the cell.
5-Press Set & Down simultaneously to reach the Advance Program / press Set / displays Freeze / Set
6-The freeze temperature is -4.5°C and the duration is approximately 6 minutes, and after that the 9210 will beep, and the display will show READY
7-Pull out the cell using the cell removal tool.
8-Shake the cell side to side while holding it vertically, and a nucleation process will start forming ice crystals inside the cell.
9-Place the cell inside the well.
10-Press Set & Down simultaneously and the 9210 displays Maintain then press Set.
11-Wait for 15 minutes before start using the cell. With proper care the triple point can last up to 4 to 6 hours.
12-After you are done using the cell press Set & Down simultaneously and the display will show Advance momentarily and then Melt / press Set.
13-Before using the cell again make sure it is completely melted.
