The purpose of this article is to show the correct cable and adapter for the Fluke-53-II B and Fluke-54-II B.
Both of the thermometers have an IR port on the top that you will not be able to see it’s between the two thermocouple inputs under the plastic for the Fluke-54-II B and to the right of the input on the Fluke-53-II B.
You need to purchase the FVF-SC2 it comes with the FlukeviewForms software, IR189USB IR cable and the adapter part number (1576688) to attach the IR189 cable to the thermometer.
Below is a picture of the IR189USB cable and the adapter (1576688) that attaches to the thermometer so the IR189USB cable can fit.
The adapter will line up the IR port at the top of the thermometer and the IR sensors in the IR189USB cable.
