Applies To:  Fluke 1523 and 1524 Handheld Readouts

Problem Description:

The 1523 or 1524 Readout is not able to upload Thermocouple calibration coefficients.

Resolution/Work Around:

The 1524 was designed to use the deviations from the corrected coefficients for specific thermocouple types.  These may be found on the report of calibration for the thermocouple.

When using Fluke Tableware for example to generate new coefficients based on measured data, the output generates the DC1 (?C1) and DC2 (?C2) deviation values at the top of the window. These are the values that are entered in to the 1524 readout.

The following values should be entered into the readout:

C0 = 0

C1 = the DC1 deviation from Tableware or ?C1 from a certificate of calibration

C2 = the DC2 deviation from Tableware or ?C2 from a certificate of calibration

C3 = 0

The coefficients listed at the bottom of the Tableware window are the coefficients for that temp

range with the new corrected coefficients.
