Problem Description:
The 9117 User’s Guide mentions that new insulation will need to be burned in but gives no specifics on how that is to be done.
Resolution/Work Around:
The standard burn in procedure for the 9117 is to set the 9117 to a temperature setpoint of 1100°C and allow it to run at that temperature for 6 hours in an enclosed space with adequate ventilation to remove the fumes from the off gassing insulation.
