Title: Why does my bath, drywell, or controller not control at the set point temperature?

Applies To: Baths, Drywells, Controllers using the 2100, 2200, or 2300 series controllers

Problem Description:

I set my heat source to 390°C and it will stabilize and control at 363°C or I will set my heat source to 0°C and it will stabilize and control at 0.73°C. I can clearly see that the Set Point is set to 0°C, but it stops at 0.73°C and controls. What is causing the problem?

Resolution/Work Around:

The analog portion that reads the sensor is thinking that it is reading the correct temperature of the sensor. So it reports to the digital portion that the correct temperature is reached. The processor will then control at that temperature reported by the analog portion.

First try a master reset on the unit.

If this does not work, the analog portion that reads the sensor will need to be replaced. This could be a wrong component or a damaged component.
