This Article is about: Connecting the Fluke 190 Series III Scopemeter to Fluke Connect App and downloading screen shots to the App.
- Turn on your Fluke 190-III Scopemeter and plug in the Wireless USB Dongle (DWA-131) into the USB port located on the left side of the meter.
- Press the Fluke Connect button on your Scopemeter. You will see the display indicating that the WiFi is ‘ON’ and there is a WiFi Password on the bottom right-hand side of the screen. You need the WiFi password when you use you the Fluke Connect App on your smart phone. And the F2 key is to Send a screenshot to the app once connected.
- With your Fluke Connect compatible smartphone, view your available wireless networks and you should see something like 190-xxx-III-Serial Number. Select that WiFi network and enter in the password from your meter.
You only need to type out this password once as your phone will save the password for future use. - Open up the Fluke Connect app on your smartphone and on the main page tap on or select ‘Connect and Capture Measurements’. The app will now search for Fluke Connect tools. A yellow box with your Scopemeter model number will appear, select that and now you should be connected. Indicated with a live display on your phone.
- You can hit the ‘Save’ button on your phone to capture a screen shot or you can physically press the F2 softkey on the Scopemeter to Send the image to the app and save it to your ‘Measurements’ within Fluke Connect. Hit ‘Done’ to store the data.
