Fluke-810 Cal Due Date has expired.

This Article is about the Fluke-810 and how to fix the issue when the Cal Due Date has expired message pops up on the display.

The fix for this issue is pretty simple all you have to do is update the firmware in the Fluke-810 and the message will not pop up again.

Here is the location on the Fluke website to obtain the Fluke-810 firmware update tool.

The 810 does not need calibration because of the special TEDS sensor which has the calibration files for each crystal saved on a chip in the triaxial sensor.  Many years ago a firmware update removed the message.  The calibration service was removed from the Fluke service center.

The firmware must be very old firmware version on the 810 to still be getting the calibration needed message. You can just ignore the message or update the 810 to the current firmware version.

Updating the firmware on the 810 may be a challenge - the update requires the use of the Viewer software and most newer computers have security programs that block the software.  You can try an older computer with older version of Windows, or the Fluke service center can update the 810, or you can ignore the need for calibration message.
