This Article is about why the recording file only has 24 hours of Trend data even though the meter recorded for a longer period of time.
The Fluke-1773, Fluke-1775 and Fluke-1777 have two modes to record data over time. The PQ Meter mode and the PQ Logger mode.
The PQ Meter mode can record longer than 24 hours, but the limitation is the Trending data is limited to a sliding 24-hour period where the data is shown as a graph over time. To give you an example, if you start the recording and record for 2 weeks the meter will monitor that amount of time and keep any events such as Dips, Swells, Interruptions, Rapid Voltage Changes and Transients but only have Trend data for the last 24 hours.
Below are some screen shots of the software program called Energy Analyze Plus showing a file created by using the PQ Meter mode. The example is the PQ Meter mode recorded for 21 days but the Trending data was only the last 24 hours. The screen below has red boxes informing you the Study Type showing PQ Meter, the Start/End Time with Start section, End section and Duration along with the Recorded events.
If you use the PQ Logger mode, the Trend data would be available for the entire recording period instead of just the last 24 hours.
Below is a screen shot of the 24-hour Trend data.
