It is possible to restore factory default values to both the sensing head(s) and COMM or MCOMM box. The procedure can be performed using DTMD v6 software or via the push button menu on the device itself.
Additionally, ASCII commands can be sent via a suitable terminal program.
Option 1 - DTMD v6
COMM or MCOMM box reset
Head Reset
Special Note Regarding ASCII command
The command for both is XF. For the head you should add the head number 001 XF. For the box XF.
Option 2 - Push Buttons (see attached video)
In case the push button panel is locked, press PAGE and ENTER together until the padlock icon in the top right hand corner of the LCD display disappears.
Head
Navigate to the head menu - you will see the object temperature and ambient temperature displayed (may differ depending on last viewer menu option)
Press the UP arrow button until you see Fact.default NO
Press enter.
NO will be highlighted
Press the UP arrow button once
NO becomes YES
Press ENTER
Box
Navigate to the box menu (you should see BOX SETUP, RELAY MODE and relay setting normally open (may differ depending on last viewer menu option)
Press the arrow button until you see BOX SETUP - FACTORY DEFAULT - NO
Press ENTER.
NO will be highlighted
Press the UP arrow button once
NO becomes YES
Press ENTER
Power cycle the device
