This Article is about how to use the PRV240FS to verify the T6-1000 Pro Field Sense feature is working properly.
Below are pictures of the PRV240FS to see how it works with the T6-1000 Pro.
The first picture is the PRV240FS along with the T6-1000 Pro.
The second picture are both items with the PRV240FS slide switch in the Field Sense mode and the back of the T6-1000 Pro and notice it doesn't have the pad to put your bare finger like the T6-1000.
The third picture shows the T6-1000 Pro in the Field Sense position and what happens if you touch the Finger Ground Contact with your bare finger on the PRV240FS, the T6-1000 Pro reads the level as 515V AC but the output of the PRV240FS is 240V AC. You need to use the black test lead and have it touch the Test Lead Grounding point instead of using your bare finger on the Finger Ground Contact.
The fourth picture shows what happens if you use the black test lead and touch the Test Lead Grounding point, it responds correctly reading the 240V AC signal.
