The following is provided from the 'Quick Guide' inside the iSee app, allowing a user to review its contents while also using the camera.

Fluke iSee™ Thermal Camera for Smartphone TC01A/TC01B (called the product or the instrument below) is working with smart device for taking infrared picture or video, TC01A is for Android with type C and TC01B is for iOS with Lightning.

It is power supplied by smart terminal, no battery built in.


Connect the product

When product has not plugged-in, or OTG feature of you smart device not enabled, the APP will display as below: (OTG is for Android only, consult with manufacture of your device to know how to enable OTG)



When the product plugged-in, the APP will start to receive and display the signal on the smart device.


Main interface

After infrared image loaded, the APP display is like below.



① On/Off/Switch the camera of your device, its window could be placed at any position of left and right side of the screen.

② Adjust brightness and contrast.

③ Measurement tools, includes "point", "line" and "square" styles, and "temperature bar" on/off button. There are maximum, minimum and average values displayed on the line or square.

④ Setup: opening setting pages to setup the product.

⑤ Manual calibration button: press the button to finish one time calibration will help better temperature measurement or taking better picture.

⑥ Temperature bar: It could be locked or unlocked. In the locked status, users can set the upper and lower temperature values of the bar. If the temperature of a target is out of that range, will be displayed with saturation color. (Here the "saturation color" is defined by app, it is part of the palette definition and generally it is out of the 256 colors of the palette. Usually use warm-color for higher end and cool-color for lower end.

⑦ Gallery: press this button to enter in gallery feature, users can view/select/delete/search pictures and videos, edit picture to change palette, making temperature measurement, etc. Users can check the visible light photo too.

⑧ Select photo feature.

⑨ Photo/video taking button, it also will take visible light picture if the camera is on.

⑩ Select video feature.

⑪ Palette selection button.

⑫ Sign of center point.

⑬ Icon of temperature alarm: displayed when the feature is on and being triggered.

⑭ The highest point of view, judged by the app when Max/Min feature is on.

⑮ The lowest point of view, judged by the app when Max/Min feature is on.


Features of setting page

In order to make accurate measurement, it is important properly setting parameters of emissivity, distance and ambient temperature.

Palette setting: it is for customized palette setting, to make personalized IR picture and video. On this page, use the color selection controls in pic2 below to set the R, G, B values corresponding to each grayscale value one by one, or manually enter parameters such as R, G, B, the app will generate the personality palette setting. It is allowed to create and save 5 sets of customized palette setting.



Temp. Alarm: users can on/off and set the temperature alert feature here, including high and lower temperature alarm, users can set and enable one of them or both. When an alert being triggered, the area of higher or lower than the set temperature, will switch the display color between normal color and saturation color. Meantime, audio and vibration alert are available to select and set, as well as automatically take photos or shoot a 5-second video when an alarm occurs.

Watermark: Users can on/off the watermark feature, it will display at the left-bottom conner. There are total 5 kinds of customized watermark of text or picture type.

Interval shooting: users can define interval time and total duration for taking picture automatically. When finish setup and back to main interface, click on the photo taking button, will start the interval shooting. Once all required picture being taken, the product will back to normal operation status.

Report feature: In the Gallery or Picture view, users can select 1 or more pictures (up to 9 pictures) to generate a report in the MS Word format. A few setups such as company and operator info in the setting page can be used to make customized report.
