Fluke meters are approved for CAT III and CAT IV safety ratings under the IEC61010 safety standard, or from standards derived from IEC61010. This standard applies to altitudes up to 2000 meters, but the standard doesn’t address use above 2000 meters. Because the standard is silent regarding higher altitudes, we can’t claim that we comply with safety ratings at higher altitudes. Our meters will function at higher altitudes will no impact on accuracy.
