If the module cannot be found, a custom module file can be created using parameters from the California Energy Commission PV Module List:
Click on 'Download Excel File':
Tips to make the downloaded CEC module excel list easier to use:
Copy and paste the contents to a new Excel spreadsheet
Delete rows 1-16
Freeze the top row
Optional: Delete the second row (parameter type labels)
Optional: delete columns G, H, I
Save and name with date published (i.e. "CEC module list 8-1-2025")
Importing a custom module file:
Custom module files are saved in the 'custom equipment' folder
Clicking 'Import' in the module selection screen will open this folder automatically - select the module and click 'OK'
