This Article is about how to create a Report including both Phase to Phase and Phase to Neutral voltage results in one report:
The primary thing to know is when you setup the Fluke Logger or Analyzer is the Topology, and the Nominal voltage are critical to make sure the tool is able to not only measure the voltage correctly but be able to capture voltage Events (Excluding the Fluke-1732 and Fluke-1734). As an example, if you setup the Logger or Analyzer Topology to 3 Phase WYE, the tool will measure Phase to Neutral and if you set the Nominal voltage to 480V instead of what you should set it to 277V the tool will not be able to capture voltage Events. It will measure the correct voltage; current and power parameters related to Phase to Neutral setting.
If you want to create a Report showing both the Phase to Neutral and Phase to Phase voltage levels, you can do that using the Advanced function in the Energy Analyzer Plus software. Remember the Topology setting drives how the tool measures and if you set the Topology to 3 Phase WYE the trend data will show the Phase to Neutral readings 277V using the example above and the Power results will also show power calculations based on Phase to Neutral parameters. Note in this case the Phase-to-Phase voltage levels in the Advanced feature in the Energy Analyze Plus software are calculated based off the Phase to Neutral readings that were not actually measured. If you do set the Topology to 3 Phase Delta, the tool will measure Phase to Phase and setting the Nominal voltage level to 480V is correct. In that case the Advanced feature can offer the calculated Phase to Neutral voltage levels if you want them along with the measured Phase to Phase voltage levels.
Below are the steps on how to use the Advanced function in Energy Analyze Plus software. The example below is a file showing a 3 Phase WYE 277V data you view in the Energy Study tab and then click on V, A, Hz, THD. You also need to check the boxes on the right for each phase. If you want this in your report you click on the Add Bookmark, and it copy the info to the Report section of the program.
The Advanced feature in this case offers the Phase-to-Phase measurements. You need to click on the Configure button on the right and a menu will pop up. Check the boxes for what phases you want to use the Voltage (P-P) for Phase-to-Phase results. Click on Ok button at bottom.
Here are the Phase-to-Phase results, click on Bookmark and that data will be in the Report section of the software.
