This Article is about how to reset the Fluke-1770 Series Power Quality Analyzers.
In some cases, such as the tool asking for a PIN and you do not have access or have forgot the PIN you can reset the meter and create a new PIN.
Before performing the Master Reset you need to download the data to a USB stick because the Master Reset will delete all the data in memory.
Here are the steps to perform the Master Reset: The meter should be off and then Simultaneously push and hold the three buttons
while you are holding those buttons push and let go of the green power button but continue to hold the three
buttons until the meter power up.
When the meter comes back on it should show the screen below and follow the steps see examples below.
If you see the screen below and your firmware version is at 3.1 you need to turn it off and back on.
It should show the third item Energy Loss Calculator.
