This article is meant to help you move data from a Fluke-434-II, Fluke-435-II, Fluke-437-II or Fluke-438-II to the Power Log Classic software using the installed SD card.

  1. Remove the SD card from the device by opening the battery compartment.  Gently pressing it into the slot should trigger the spring mechanism to pop it out.
  2. Insert the SD card into your PC.
    1. For ease of navigation, you can use the file explorer to move the folder labeled "Fluke" onto your desktop.  *NOTE* It has to be the whole folder, and the name must remain "FLUKE" in order for the software to process it properly.
  3. Open the Power Log Classic software.
  4. Click on File > select FLUKE 430-II SD card.

  5. Another window will pop up and you will need to navigate to the Fluke folder.  If you moved it in step 2, navigate to that location.  Otherwise, it will be on the SD card, usually identified as another drive in the file tree. Just the FLUKE folder itself will need to be highlighted.

  6. Click on the OK button and another window will appear showing all the files available for you to download.

    1. In the example below, MEAS 5 has been selected on the left and the preview is displayed. The preview shows the details of how the meter was configured, the application mode selected, selected interval, Events, Duration and Start and End time of recording. The preview section also shows the number of events, normal and detailed captured.  Ensure the checkboxes for "Download Events" and "Detailed events" are selected if you want this information included in data.

  7. After the data is downloaded, it will open a window showing the Voltage and Current graphs as the default view. You can then use the tabs at the top of the data to see the rest of the captured data.
