First, ensure you have configured your device for recording Harmonics. See https://my.fluke.com/en-us/article/KA-04147 for instructions on configuring your harmonics capture.
The most commonly used method to determine the direction of flow, is to look at the phase angle for the harmonic power and the relationship between the voltage and current for a particular harmonic. If the phase angle between voltage and current is between 90 and 270 degress, it is assumed that the harmonic power flow is the opposite direction compared to the fundamental power flow.
When viewing the harmonic power either on the device or in the Energy Analyze Plus software, a positive harmonic power value indicates that the harmonics are coming from the source, and a negative value indicate they are coming from the load.
