The display may require updated video drivers depending upon the age of the existing firmware.  The video driver is part of the embedded firmware. Press and hold the [ESC] button on your equipment to display the firmware version. If it is not current then you will need to upgrade. See firmware page links at this webpage. Make sure you click on the correct model.  An indication of an outdated video driver is that the screen will show garbled and/or distorted characters.
