If you have blown a fuse in a Fluke BT521 Battery Analyzer, you may be wondering why. Here are a few quick possibilities.
· Is the fuse is really blown? If the fuse holder is loose, it also cause the measurement circuit to be open and display OL. Check to make sure that the fuse holder is correctly installed.
· What is the ripple voltage? If it exceeds the 6000 mV range, the fuse may blow.
· Has the probe tip touched the battery rack during measurement? This can exceed the voltage range and will blow the fuse.
